For
your kind perusal, examination, verification as you deem fit, I would like to
request you to kindly go through my letter to Sri.K.C.Ghosh, Sr.General
Manager/ South dated 22-01-2014 copy placed at attachment, copy of original
endst to you earlier.
You
might be unhappy to find that whatever has been stated by CAO / TR / Alipore
dated 22-03-2014 to you are
contrary to the factual position as per records, documents & physical
positions.

Down loaded copy of bill and original copy of bill for ‘December’2013’ did not contain details as explained in detail at
CAO’s letter dated. 22.03.2014.
Secondly I am provided with ‘Teracom’ Type I modem and no others as
indicated by CAO.

I have already indicated vide item 3 of my mail to Sri. K.C Ghosh, Sr.GM /
South dated. 22.01.2014 (copy already with you) that I have already paid SECURITY DEPOSIT BB MODEM
Rs. 500/- against. Bill for August’2007 for the period
30-06-2007 to 31-07-2007 In view
of the above you are requested to kindly let me know if there exist any rule
made by BSNL Company to deposit 2nd time SD for a BB MODEM?
A list of total SD made available with
BSNL For phone 2402 6000 may be seen.
However
since CAO preferred to send their submissions to you, it is requested that CAO
be advised to deny the factual position brought out at item (1) & (2)
above clearly in writing so that original exhibits in support can be
produced before the appropriate authority of the government constituted for
PWDs at Delhi. Incidentally it is to state that CAO / TR / Alipore is in a
habit of sending wrong bills regulated, pending till now which are treated as
harassment to a Senior Citizen, CVC, Paralyzed Disabled, can’t move outside for
whatsoever reasons as detailed above. One of such case was settled by CGM/CTD
vide PS to CGM’s mail dated 05-08-2009 (Attachment) but some of the items are disregarded now. Let the denial
/ refusal for item (1) & (2) come from CAO in question, a consolidated case
will be moved for settlement. Copies of this letter being forwarded to CMD, DOT
& TRAI as the instant case have been referred to them.
Due to extreme domestic
reasons the U/s PWD will be out of HQ at Kolkata for 2 months but will be

In connection with above this is to inform that none from
BSNL came down to the undersigned to verify the free of charges modem “Teracom”
Type I provided to me and verify documents in support of my submissions except
some one from & JTO of Haridaspur exchange inquired over phone whether my
internet connection is OK or not.
However
for your kind perusal & ready appreciation a statement of total Security
Deposit paid to BSNL in respect of BB & Telephone No. 2402 6000 duly
quoting bill reference & other essentials are furnished below & at
attachment:-
Incidentally
it is to mention that probably due to abolition of scheme HP UL 750/- I have
been provided with new scheme ULD 800/- No prayer has been made by undersigned
in this respect. However BSNL in terms of prevailing terms & conditions can
charge only Rs.50/- from me to make up total SD for BB for Rs. 800/-

Kindly refer to your e-mail to CGM/CTD dated 03.08.09. Issues related to
billing, service and provision of free modem are examined with due
consideration .Following measures are taken .
a) 5 (five) adjustments
amounting Rs.1,108/- were made :-
i)
Adjustment for disconnection period 31.01.09 to 08.02.09 – Rs.100/-
ii)
Adjustment for disconnection period 28.02.09 to 06.03.09 – Rs.100/-
iii)
Adjustment for excess amount of rent paid for type-1 modem

c) Benefit of 20% discount as retired Govt.
employee has been allowed in bills for Dec’08 to Feb’08.
d) Bill dt. 07.01.09 for Rs.1312.00 was
examined and found in order.

in conformity with UL750 Plan (temporary for Rs.500.00) and

d) Our staff/vendor visited your premises
on 17.06.09.E-mail sent from your computer was found perfectly O.K.
e) Availability of maximum speed under BB
Plan of H750UL is 256 kbps.
f) One free
broadband modem (type-1) is granted as a very special case of
humanitarian issue. This will be effective from August’09.
