Sub: Neglect / ignore to aged Persons with Disability by certain Govt Departments.

& Facility required to be extended to an extreme Disabled Person

Ref: My letter to GM / S.E.Rly Kolkata dated 20.2.2017 copy endst to you.

Kindly please see a self contained request made by an aged Extreme Disabled Person as detailed at the top of letter head for your ready appreciation. It may be seen that under special acute difficult situation for an extreme Disabled person such a request has to be made.

You might be aware that Indian Railways were requested to consider a special request made by the undersigned extreme Disabled Person who cannot move without escorts to allow his attendant / escort provided his Rly Pass along with him (In normal case this is not allowed) through request made with Minister Railways & Higher Officials since 2009 through 168 self contained prayers & reminders up to 2014 but Railways neglected, ignored even to reply to those 168 reminders. I.E. Indian Railways are totally NON FRIENDLY TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITY.. By ignoring, neglecting Aged Extreme Disabled Person even to response a request not only insult a Disabled Person, causing clear cut discrimination between Disabled & others, causing intentional embargo on performing religious activity by an extreme Disabler’s religious freedom of right, Disability PWD Act'2016 etc, etc

Since it is a standard habit of Railway Department to ignore, neglect Aged, Disabled Persons it is apprehended that railway will not response to prayer made by this extreme Disabled Person. In case it is happened so after 15 days you are requested to initiate suitable action as deemed fit by you against addressee railways for remedial measures.

Sufficient documents may be required for verification are enclosed at Attachment for necessary action. Since all documents cannot be sent to you in a single e-mail it may be necessary to send more mails to cover up.

The undersigned, an aged retired extreme Disabled, can’t move without escorts (as detailed at the top of letter head) had to submit before you for kind consideration and pass suitable orders:-

That the undersigned extreme Disabled is desirous to go to Puri exclusively for pilgrimage purpose by Sealdah Puri Duranto Express (to avoid trouble sum journey up to Howrah Station platform by an extreme Disabled Person like me) against his 1^st Class Rly Pass along with wife aged 66 yrs, an Asthma Patient and one attendant well conversant with requirements of a Hemiparasis Disabled during next Oct-Nov’17 period.

Under the circumstance it is requested to kindly examine the proposal & if there is any bar to get reservation by Duranto Sealdah Express and if so kindly suggest the best possible way to avail the train by this extreme Disabled Person as a special case and oblige. All the testimonials required in support of factual position may kindly be seen at attachment.
