President & Prime Minister of India expressed their deep concern & desire to do betterment for PWDs real pictures for Old Aged Disabled Persons / can’t move out side are disappointing….

Despite President and Prime Minister of India expressed their deep concern for Persons with Disability, advised the Government to do betterment for PWDs – it is seen that practically nothing has so far been done or expected to be done for Old Aged Disability & Disabled Persons especially those cannot move out side for what so ever purpose due to physical constraints. It is felt that some examples of happenings made to Sr. Citizen Disabled cannot move needed be taken to the kind notice of Prime Minister of the country for real appreciation and necessary directives as considered necessary by his honor. – Kindly see few examples which have already been brought to the notice of higher administrators of the country but did not produce any result.

1. ONCE again Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited / Kolkata started sending erroneous bills to harass a Sr. Citizen Disabled who cannot move out side to attend different offices of BSNL to settle the issue. Some three years back similar things happened when CMD / BSNL & CGM / Kolkata interfered & settled the disputes but now BSNL accounts have started disturbing again. Matter has been brought to the notice of CMD / BSNL & CGM / Kol but no remedial action initiated so far & as a result there of I had to suffer financial losses every month. Though administrative officers of Government of India are headed at the top of BSNL they have not even considered the proposal to open single window counter to serve cases related to Old Aged Disable & Disabled persons who cannot move. 2. To allow his escort to travel along with him on the strength of C/Pass in trains, a request was made to railway authority by a Sr.Citizen (67yrs), Disabled (60%), Hemaparasis, right side of body fully paralyzed cannot move out side with out a capable escort bears no result / unattended so far even after issue of 88 (eighty eight) reminders by me so far. 3. Duly explaining the acute reasons, a prayer was made to the Governor of West Bengal and Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment of India to provide a computer set treating this as a life line to Sr.Citizen Disabled (60%) right side of body fully paralyzed, cannot move out side with out an escort but can only operate computer to communicate rest part of world in connection with social welfare works for old aged disability & disabled persons. Incidentally there exist no Exemptions, Relaxations or any type of Spl. Provisions made for Sr.Citizen, Disabled except tax & train reservation (not useful). The said prayer was recommend by both Governor of WB and SJE Ministry, but the case traveled like a shuttle cock from one end to the other i.e. between Delhi and Kolkata for last 24 months but could not produce any effective result so far. Since Government has recently decided to place a sum of Rs. 20 lks at the disposal of MPs, a request was made to pursue the case to MP on my behalf. In response, just recently Commissioner Disability / WB had collected requisite particulars from me for further necessary action. Kindly see details of proceedings. 4. An issue “Deliberate differential treatment, misuse of office establishment & powers, insult & threats to disabled & entire PWD community by ADM / G, DM & some few others of district administration 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India to deprive a disabled (80%) in getting EPIC with his eligibility documents” ware moved by various well wishers to disabled of the society. The Election Commission of India have considered the case and arranged issue of EPIC on the basis of documents furnished which was refused by above said officers intentionally for a decade. The entire case is within the knowledge of each & every highest authority of Government of India with tons of documents, contradictory correspondences made by administration, photo documents- exhibit etc continuously for past 6/7 months. Earmarked proven guilty personal of the Govt. are now within the knowledge of highest administrative authority of West Bengal i.e. Ch.Secretary & Home Secretary for their actions, considerations as deemed fit in administrative interest of fair, impartial and disciplined governance. The poor extreme disabled victim who had to suffer both financially & mentally due to guilty personal of the Government authority the onus and humanitarian consideration can be expected from Govt. to grant / provide a befitting compensation so that victim disabled in question can carry on despite he lost every opportunity for unwanted reasons. In view of the factual position mentioned at above may we expect that union Government will be considering some effective measures so that old aged Disabled and Disabled persons cannot move for any purpose are not harassed, ignored by any authority and their grievances (including e-mails) are sorted out / received proper justice / attention by the addressee concerned at the earliest possible / reasonable time. Such an instructions / orders issued will definitely beneficial to old aged disables & disabled persons who can’t move. Issue of such an order / instructions by the Government will not incur any financial involvement. Let us all hope for a better tomorrow. Namaste.
